Eye brush set from Forever 21

About a month ago i went into Forever 21 shop in bangkok and saw this set of eye brush at the check out. It was only 190 baht. So i bought it just for the sake of trying. But i was surprise with a quality of the brushes, Not bad at all for the price. The brush come in black sleek box with a name on every brush, so don't worry if you are a newbie. 

I already use it for my eye makeup this morning and i love it. The only downside of this set is that it missing a bigger blending brush for soft smokey look. But all in all i think this set is wonderful and it will be a good option for a Christmas gift for you younger sister or someone that just start using make up :)

Problem with Revlon Colors stay Foundation bottle?

I know we all love Revlon Colors stay Foundation but the problem is it does not come with a pump. It is a little bit hard to use and when it pour it out it's always come out a lot more than I intended.
Last week i went to stationary shop and found the answer for this problem.

This is the bottle that you can buy from  art supplies store. I bought from Paragon (Shopping store in Bangkok, Thailand). It cost me 45 bth for 3 bottles.

Perfect right? Its good for travel as well.

American Apparel Glitter Nail lacquer in Galaxy

Today i went to buy some grocery in LaVilla near Aree station. 
And look what i found.

They have American Apparel Nail lacquer on a shelf, doesn't have wide range of colour but its enough to make me excited like a kid in candy shop. They sell this at 385 baht ($13,£8) which is a little bit cheaper than on the internet. 
By the way, I live in Bangkok, Thailand and we don't have American Apparel shop here. I bought it in Galaxy (multi colour big glitter).

I paint it over Chanel 161 (Vanity) make it look like a candy shop, I love it ;)

D.I.Y Speckled Nail Polish__ Illamasqua “I’mperfection” collection

Illamasqua recently launched their “I’mperfection” collection, which is all about loving yourself and showing what makes you perfectly imperfect.
I really like this collection and one of the star products of this collection is the speckled nail polish. It's coming in 5 colors. The one in this picture is SCARCE. The price is around £14.50 

I'm not sure how much these sell in Thailand but I think it will be more than I'm willing to pay.
So, I found the way to replicate it.

Firstly you have to find a base colour that you like. I recommend you to use the one that's a little bit transparence, so the black glitter can be seen. Also the nail polish should have small metal balls inside. The metal balls will help separate and spread the glitter. I choose Revlon 911 "Pink Chiffon".

 Then you need 2 sizes of black glitter. I got mine from Ebay

I found that the best way to make the glitter spread evenly in nail polish  is to mix 2 size of glitter in a pot before put it in the nail polish of your choice. Put the glitter in little by little and test if glitter is not dense enough you can always put more.

 Shake well and try. 

This is the end result. Not bad isn't it.

I have a business meeting on Monday, so I thought "what nail colour should I wear to this meeting?".
Looking into my nail polish collection, I found 3 beautiful colours that will be perfect for a business meeting. I couldn't decide which one I'm gonna go for. So I use all three in this design.

In trend with galaxy nail art

Hello you all.

Galaxy print is very in trend in fashion right now. So today I will show you easy steps to do your own galaxy nail.

You need nail polish in black, purple glitter, white, light green, pearly green, pearly purple , pearly blue and glitter top coat.

First of all you need to paint your nail with black follow by purple glitter. Let it dry a bit. Then use a damp sponge to stamp white polish in a strip across your nail. And use the same sponge with light green stamp it on both side of white strip. Let it dry again and do the same with pearly purple, green and blue.
Finish with glitter top coat.

Enjoy your beautiful and in trend nail art.

D.I.Y Brush Guard

 Hello you all 


I want to do this blog post for so long but don't really have time to do it.
Now its the time :)
This is a very easy and cheap way to make your own Brush Guard.
It as good as the brand name one at fraction of the price.


Ok let's get started..
What you need are 
-  Drain net in the colour that you want (i got this from Daiso for 60 baht)
-  Iron 
-  Wax paper, that you use for baking 
-  Scissors

First you need to cut the drain net in to a flat piece.

cut in in half.

measured to fit brush size and cut into a long piece.

Then, move to the ironing board. Fold drain net in half and put the wax paper over it.

The wax paper help to protect the iron from drain net when it melt.

Running the iron over the seam slowly so the drain net melt and stick together.

 Now its done.

You can make it in any size to fit all your brushes.

Put the brush gard from the handle up to bristle.

these are the brush gard that I made. You can use it after wash the brush and when you travel.

It will help keep brush in shape and prevent damage from traveling.

Colour of the year

Do you know what is the colour of the year 2012 is? According to PANTONE it is "Pantone 17-1463 Tangerine Tango". It's a beautiful reddish orange. So this week in honor of colour of the year I did an orange nail with a glitter tip. Easy but nice.

Revlon colorburst lipstick

I bought this lipstick from Watsons when they have a promotion that you can buy one and get another one for only 1 baht. So, I paid around 130 for each lipstick. The colour payoff for this lipstick is really good and the staying power is good too. I believe they have 10 colour for you to choose from. My favorite one is Soft rose (040) for everyday and True red (090) for special occasion.

Pink nail idea.

I was watching video from FleurDeForce in you tube and saw that she wore her nail in pink but all difference shade. That where I got an idea to do my nail like this. You can change the colour if you like. I think purple and blue will look really nice.

RED NAIL : This is how you do it

Songkran holiday is over, time to get back to reality. Work Work Work !!! So I thought I might do something with nail that will brighten up my week.
It's very easy guys. Just a very bright red and a big gold glitter nail polish. I use Revlon no.640 fearless and Bisque with no number just a very big gold glitter one.
Paint your nail with 2 coat of red polish and then choose only 1 nail (any nail that you want) and paint gold glitter on top.
You will have a red nail with a bit difference to brighten up your week.

Just bought new nail polish so pink so glittery and easy to use. Not sure what brand it is but I love it :)

Revlon Colourburst Lip Butter

Wonderful colour, medium staying power. You might have to touch up several time a day. But its very comfortable on the lip. In this picture I use colour 015 Tutti Frutti.
